About Me.
Hi, I'm Fashion Castillo – a creative storyteller with a passion for amplifying community voices and building spaces that foster connection.
Growing up listening to 90s punk music with my dad and attending concerts in Southern California since (practically) birth, inspired a fascination with the music industry. While I may have lived vicariously through William Miller of Almost Famous, my journey has taken a different shape.
Playing various instruments throughout high school gave me an appreciation for the craft, but it was discovering Public Relations and Journalism that unlocked my ability to connect with people through words and visuals. Writing, photography, and design became my way to share stories that matter.

From photographing and writing stories as a freelance journalist for Voice of OC to supporting local musicians through my work with the OC Artist Collective, I’m passionate about combining creativity and strategy to make an impact.

Whether I’m creating graphics for a campaign, capturing live performances, or reporting on the stories that shape our communities, my goal is always the same: to amplify voices, build connections, and inspire through meaningful storytelling.

When I’m not at a concert or behind the camera, you can find me paddleboarding at the beach, sipping lattes at a local coffee shop, or dreaming up my next creative project.

Let’s create something amazing together!
